About Academics
At Hilltop, our curriculum is designed to nurture the whole child. It means we shoot for academic, intellectual, social, and emotional development at every stage of learning. From early childhood through middle school, we engage our students in a dynamic, age-appropriate program that inspires curiosity, builds foundational skills, and fosters a lifelong love of learning.
Here are the school divisions we offer.
Early Childhood Division
Lower School Division
Elementary School (Grades 1–4)
In the Lower School, students deepen their academic foundations while growing as independent thinkers. The curriculum emphasizes strong skill development in literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies, alongside enriching experiences in the arts and world languages. Guided by a culture of honor and responsibility, students are encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and develop resilience in a nurturing learning environment.
Upper School Division
Middle School (Grades 5–8)
Hilltop’s Upper School offers a dynamic and rigorous academic program designed to prepare students for high school and beyond. With a focus on leadership, critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity, students engage in advanced coursework across disciplines, participate in collaborative projects, and explore personal interests. Integrity, respect, and accountability are woven throughout the program, empowering students to become thoughtful, confident learners and compassionate community members.
